Original Ink Cartridge:

A compatible ink cartridge is a new ink cartridge manufactured by an alternative company other than the original manufacturer. A compatible ink cartridge is guaranteed to perform as well as the original ink cartridge and offers a very economical option. Great for every day printing and for those over worked family printers where printing costs are important. You can intechange bewteen Compatible and OEM cartridges depending upon your printing requirements.

Remanufactured Ink Cartridge:

There are patent laws protecting some ink print cartridges (HP Lexmark etc) from being totally manufactured as new. Where it is not possible to manufacture as new an alternative company remanufactures these printer ink cartridges using state of the art refilling equipment and machinery.
